Set up your scan schedule

You can set AVG to scan at a regular time that works for you. Hourly, daily, weekly, upon start up... you choose!

How to set your scan schedule:

1. Open AVG by double-clicking your desktop icon
2. Select the Protection tile to open AVG AntiVirus FREE
3. Click the cog at the right of the Scan Now button
4. Select Managed scheduled scans, then Add scan schedule
5. Ensure Scheduled Scan is enabled and specify your scan preferences
6. Click Save
7. If prompted, select Yes to agree to allow AVG to make changes to your computer

Your scan will now run as per your preferences – automatically!
