Your Right to Refund
If you're not completely satisfied with your AVG product,
please contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
After 30 days, AVG normally does not give refunds if you change your mind. However, we do provide 24/7 technical support and will happily solve any technical issues you may have.
PLEASE NOTE: This 30-day, money-back guarantee does not apply to retail purchases of AVG product. Each retailer has their own refund policy and should be contacted directly for these matters.
Additionally, our refund policy does not cover the cost of providing and shipping an AVG Backup CD when this has been requested and the CD/DVD is not faulty. In these circumstances, our refund policy only covers the costs of your AVG subscription(s).
Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your Subscription for any reason up to 14 days after your purchase. To cancel within this 14-day period, just follow the instructions at www.avg.com/billing and you will receive a refund within 14 days of cancellation.
Please note that your right to cancel does NOT cover:
Software downloaded from AVG’s website that has already been used
Sealed shrink-wrapped software that has been opened after delivery
Any service that has been purchased that has already been fully performed
In addition to your right to cancel, AVG offers for most Solutions a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you have paid for an eligible product within the preceding 30 days, you may obtain a refund by following the instructions at www.avg.com/billing.
The quickest way to obtain a refund on a mobile Solution is to follow the process established by the mobile app store from which you purchased the Solution. If the mobile app store does not honor your refund request, but you are otherwise within the 30-day window from initial purchase, you may be able to return your mobile Solution for a refund of all amounts paid (other than for in-app purchases or subscriptions) by following the instructions at www.avg.com/billing.
You may not return or refund any in-app purchases from a mobile Solution. For Subscriptions purchased in-app, you may cancel your Subscription before it is extended and you will not be charged again. You will, however, retain access to the Subscription content you purchased for the remainder of the final Subscription Period. Unless otherwise provided in the End User License Agreement, you may be able to return any Solution other than mobile Solutions that you have purchased by following the instructions at www.avg.com/billing.
Subject always to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement, you are purchasing a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use each solution you purchase or otherwise properly acquire (Subscription), in each case during the applicable subscription period for each such purchase or acquisition (Subscription Period). At the end of any Subscription Period, your Subscription will automatically extend for successive time periods. When the Subscription Period automatically extends for an additional month, year or a similar consecutive time period, AVG may provide you with a notice by email that includes instructions on how to cancel your Subscription at the end of the current Subscription Period and how to request a refund for cancellation requests within 30 days of the start of the extended Subscription Period.
If the email address you have provided to AVG changes, you must update your AVG account user profile, which can be accessed at myaccount.avg.com/my-account-login. Keeping your email address up to date in your AVG account user profile ensures that you receive notices about Subscription Period extensions. You may cancel your Subscription at the end of the Subscription Period by following the instructions in the notice.
