In some cases you may encounter files with the following or similar file names on your computer, e.g. in a prompt from your firewall application. Such files are part of AVG and therefore safe:
roc_roc_nt.exe
roc_roc_july.exe
roc_jan2013_av.exe
roc_jan2013_tb.exe
roc_roc_dec12.exe
roc_paid_jan2013_tb.exe
If you come across any such file on your computer and want to make sure it belongs to AVG, you can verify it's digital signature:
- Right-click on the file, and then click Properties.
- Switch to tab Digital Signature.
- Make sure the Name of signer is "AVG Technologies".
