After a recent AVG 2012 update, you may encounter the following warning when opening your web browser:

AVG toolbar was unable to connect with AVG application. Please check that the program is installed and running. If you continue to experience this error, please contact AVG Technical Support.

If you encounter this issue, please tick the option Please do not show me this dialog again and confirm by clicking OK. Then perform AVG program update to resolve the issue (open AVG and click Update now).
