AVG 2011 update is not working after upgrade from AVG 9.0
It is possible that you may experience that update is not working after upgrading your AVG 9.0 to AVG 2011. To resolve this situation please follow these steps:
- Navigate to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVG10\cfgall\
Windows Vista, Windows 7
Note: Some files or folders may be hidden by default. To view hidden files and folders please visit FAQ 2009.
- Find and delete the updateall.cfg file.
- Try to run the update again, it should proceed correctly now.
If the update is not running even after performing these steps, please contact AVG Customer Support by following instructions in FAQ 2216.
