AVG Do Not Track informs you about websites and advertisers collecting data about your online activity, and gives you the choice to allow or disallow this tracking. The eye icon in your browser allows you to access the AVG Do Not Track settings:
icon on your browser bar

To configure AVG Do Not Track:

  1. Open AVG Do Not Track by clicking its icon on your browser bar.
  2. By clicking the eye icon at each particular service, you can block or allow it; alternatively, you can use the Block All / Unblock All button.

AVG uses W3C DNT protocol to automatically notify sites that you don’t want to be tracked. This notification is enabled by default. You can change the settings as follows:

  1. Open AVG Do Not Track by clicking its icon on your browser bar.
  2. Click Do Not Track settings at the bottom of the AVG Do Not Track interface.
  3. Clear (disable) or tick (enable) the option Notify web sites that I do not want to be tracked.
