AVG Technologies announces appointment of new distributor for Denmark
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, October 23, 2008 - AVG, a global anti-virus and Internet security software provider with over 80 million users in 167 countries, announced today the appointment of a new authorized distributor for Denmark. Draware A/S is a broad-range solutions distributor addressing companies of all sizes across multiple markets.

According to Eurostat, the statistical arm of the European Commission, Denmark is the EU’s leading country in the use of information technologies. Almost 84% of Danish companies have a web presence, and 70% of employees use a computer for work. More than 75% of all homes have an internet connection, with a similar percentage of individuals in the 16-74 age range being daily internet users, and 96% of households with children have a computer. All indicators are highly above European average.
