With a long history in the IT sector, Mike is the perfect person to be leading the sales organization. He has aligned it with all business functions and developed a top down channels program. Since he started with AVG in 2007, Mike has taken on a number of roles; including being Managing Director for three years and most recently restructuring the global sales and operations and adopting an updated channel strategy.

Mike’s association with AVG began in 2002 when he was running his own business as AVG’s UK partner. He established the company’s entry into the UK through online sales, reseller channels, a UK-based customer service and technical support department which led him to selling the business to AVG’s parent company and Mike joining the team as Managing Director of AVG UK.

Under Mike’s leadership, AVG has become the leading consumer antivirus program in the UK. His resourcefulness has led to building and launching AVG’s monthly billing platform, in which Virgin was the first customer, and increasing the local retention rate.

Prior to his work with AVG, Mike was Managing Partner at F1 Services, an IT reseller. He holds a BSC Hons from Coventry University and his specialties include Operations, Strategic Planning, Business Management, Customer Service and Technical Support.
