Keeping applications up to date on a PC can be such a hassle. Unless you’ve gotten your applications from the Windows Store, there’s no guarantee your applications are checking for updates and then prodding you to download or doing it automatically. That means that in most cases, you need to jump from application to application, looking for the different methods of updating your apps.
Unsurprisingly, most of us can’t be bothered, even if we know better.
According to our statistics, over half of the most popular Windows applications installed on people’s PCs aren’t being updated. That means people across the world are running outdated versions of everything from web browsers, technologies like Flash or Shockwave, and typical applications like Skype or Adobe Reader.
Applications that don’t get updated can be more than just annoyances, though. They can be downright dangerous.
TuneUp to the rescue
This is where PC TuneUp’s new Software Updater feature comes in. It checks for the most popular applications, and gets them updated to the latest & greatest versions so you’re always enjoying the latest features and have the latest critical vulnerabilities fixed. Best of all, it skips all of the painful installers and reboots – and does it all automatically.

But we would recommend you just flip the Automatic Updates switch and silently get updates on a regular basis.
