AVG 2013 is compatible with all versions of Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise.

In case you are about to upgrade to Windows 8 and you are using an older version of AVG (2012, 2011, 9.0 or 8.5), please upgrade to AVG 2013 as described in the article How to upgrade to AVG 2013 when you already have an older AVG version.

Note:
It is not possible to install AVG 2013 on Windows 8 RT (also called Windows RT) which is used on some tablets and similar devices. This version of Windows is different than the PC version, and runs only applications specifically designed for this platform.
