If there is AVG Firewall used together with Cisco Network Magic software, it may happen, that some stations are inaccessible within the Cisco application. An issue with sharing via the Cisco Network Magic application may occur as well.

This is caused by new protection feature of AVG Firewall, that blocks port scanning, which Cisco Network Magic widely uses.

To resolve the issue proceed as follows:

1. Open AVG Program.
2. Select Tools menu -> Firewall settings.
3. Open the IDS section.
4. Remove all IP addresses from Currently blocked attackers field.
5. Untick the Block Port Scan option.
6. Click OK to save your settings.
