How to display/copy the license number?


AVG (all editions excluding AVG Identity Protection)

  • Run AVG. 
  • Double-click the License component. 
  • Your AVG License Number is shown in the middle of the screen in AVG.
  • Click on the AVG License Number displayed. From the context menu select Copy license number. Then enter the number into the text field using CTRL+V shortcut.

Note: In case of rewriting this license number manually, please be caruful to not confuse "1" (one) and "I" (India), "5" (five) and "S" (Sierra), "8" (eight) and "B" (Bravo).
Signs "0" (zero) and "O" (Oscar) are not significant, both can be used.


Where to find the operating system version?

  • Go to the START menu -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System -> General tab. (The following screen can be also poped-up by WIN+Break shortcut.)
  • Copy down the information from System (as marked by red color on the following picture).
