This is what worked for me!!!!.. First You Need to CLOSE Google Chrome!!! You Can do this two ways. 1.) Copy this and search it in your start menu C:\Program Files (x86)\AVG SafeGuard toolbar\ChromeRes Once there open the ChromeRes folder and change the "nt" file to "nt-old" 2.) Open Up "My Computer" > Open the C: Drive > Program Files (x86) > AVG SafeGuard toolbar> ChromeRes > Then change the "nt" file to "nt-old"

Every time my computer boots up, I receive a message from AVG saying something about there being an error, and it asks me if I wish to report it???
Config: Gateway laptop, windows 7 home premium 64 bit. AVG2012, I think. After downloading an update, the update asked to reboot to complete the installation. After doing so it won't reboot. Tried avg rescue disk, it won't boot. Took the hard drive out, hooked it up to another computer, and renamed avg* drivers per previous forum postings. Still won't boot. Could be coincidental and some other problem, but hard to believe. Need some help please. Thanks in advance.
