Broadband Service Provider Daisy Partners with AVG to provide Complete Internet Security offering

Business customers to benefit from free product trial and ongoing Internet security support

UK, London (12th May, 2009) – AVG, the World’s most downloaded Internet security software, is now available to all Daisy broadband subscribers as part of a new partnership aimed at providing its customers with a complete and secure broadband service offering. To mark the partnership, Daisy broadband subscribers will receive a free one-month trial of AVG Internet Security Suite, which defends businesses against viruses, spyware, worms, hackers, botnets, malware, Trojans, spam, and other cyber threats.

Mike Foreman, MD for AVG UK, says: “As online threats continue to evolve at an alarming rate, it is becoming increasingly important for businesses to ensure they are protected from online attacks. Our partnership with Daisy highlights their commitment to ensuring that their customers are well protected.”

Following a free one-month trial, AVG Internet Security will be offered as an add-on to both new and existing monthly subscribers - either as a standalone product at £2.99 per month, or with a three user license at £3.99 per month.

Stuart Cordingley, Director of Product and Marketing for Daisy, says: “We recently carried out a broadband survey with our customers and online security featured strongly as a main concern in the feedback. This is the first time we will offer Internet security to our customers and through our partnership with AVG, we can now offer all future and existing clients complete peace of mind in knowing that they are protected by the World’s leading Internet security software.”
