To protect workstations and file server(s) with maximum virus protection and product customization, select one of the network editions. We can offer you the following AVG 8.0 products:

AVG Internet Security Network Edition which includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, anti-rootkit, anti-spam, Web Shield & Link Scanner protection.
AVG Anti-Virus Network Edition which includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, anti-rootkit, Web Shield & Link Scanner protection

If you also need email server protection, please select one of the SBS editions.

All these editions include remote administration of all features. To learn more about AVG central management (AVG Admin), click here.

The price of the network editions is determined by the total number of workstations and server(s) combined. Configurations from 2  to 200 licenses are available for purchase online.

To protect supported email servers, select the AVG Email Server Edition.

The current supported e-mail servers are as follows:

• MS Exchange Server 2000/2003
• MS Exchange Server 2007
• Lotus Notes/Domino (MS Windows)

To protect your Linux e-mail server, select the AVG Email Server Edition for Linux/FreeBSD.

To protect your file server, select AVG File Server Edition.
To protect your Linux file server, select AVG File Server Edition for Linux/FreeBSD.

Please note that these editions do not include protection for workstations.

If you wish to protect your workstations as well as your server(s), we recommend that you select one of our AVG Network Editions.
If you are looking for maximum protection for your workstations and file server(s), we suggest that you purchase AVG Internet Security Network Edition which includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-rootkit, firewall, anti-spam and System Tools (for advanced operating system monitoring and management). Moreover, it includes HTTP Scanner, AVG Active Surf Shield, AVG Search Shield and also Instant Messaging Protection.

To protect Microsoft SBS network (exchange server, file server and workstations) choose one of the AVG Small Business Server (SBS) Editions that are intended for small and medium sized customers running small networks (typically MS SBS):

SharePoint Server protection is included in the following AVG editions:

• AVG Anti-Virus SBS Edition that includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-rootkit and firewall protection at workstation level only and protection for file and e-mail servers.
• AVG Internet Security SBS Edition that includes anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-rootkit and firewall and anti-spam protection at workstation level only and protection for file and e-mail servers, and also System Tools (for advanced operating system monitoring and management).
• AVG File Server Edition that includes anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-rootkit protection for file servers.

Moreover, all the above products include two versions of Remote Administration tool (AVG Admin and Admin Lite).

To protect computer which works on Linux operating system, please select AVG Anti-Virus Professional Edition for Linux/FreeBSD. This edition requires one license per computer and it is available in 1, 2, 3 or 5 license packs.

To protect Linux email servers, select the AVG Email Server Edition for Linux/FreeBSD.

The number of licenses is determined by the number of mailboxes (up to 75 mailboxes). For over 75 mailboxes the number of licenses is determined by the number of mail servers.

To protect Linux file server, select the AVG File Server Edition for Linux/FreeBSD.

This edition requires 1 license per computer connected to any AVG-protected file server. It can be purchased online in packs for 5-100 connections.

NOTE: Installation packages for Windows and Linux are different.

The AVG Rescue CD is a portable variant of AVG based on the Windows PE platform. It is distributed as a bootable CD intended for operating system recovery in such an event where the system cannot be loaded in the regular way - for example due to substantial virus infection. Initially the AVG Rescue CD will load the temporary operating system Windows PE edition and run AVG, which can be then used in the usual way for virus and spyware detection and removal. In addition, administration tools are available for advanced users.
