SVP Global Marketing
With more than 20 years of international experience in the telecommunication and technology sectors, AVG is pleased to have James leading their Global Marketing initiatives. He is focused on building and leading his team to exceed business objectives in the internet security market. His duties involve all global marketing activities including Brand, Social Media, Customer Insights, Pricing, Propositions and Channel Marketing.
Prior to joining AVG, James worked at Research in Motion as their Senior Marketing Director, EMEA. Here he was responsible for the marketing strategy, programmes, product, pricing and channel marketing activities across EMEA. James also spent time at T-Mobile as their VP of Business Marketing and as the General Manager and Business Partner for mmO2, plc.
James’ specialities include mobile, telecoms and internet marketing as well as product development and international marketing. He has a MA in International Marketing from Brunel University and a BA (Hons) Business Studies (First Class) from Birmingham City University. James is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and speaks fluent Spanish.
