Family Safety WHF

Good morning, I can not get AVG Family Safety WHF to work. Have contacted AVG and they had me email them all my computer information and said they would be back to me in 48 hours or less. Been 3 weeks and no response. I have done the manual install, looked through all the forums, web, etc. The WHF is not working. Would love some help on getting it to work. I have uninstalled, and then installed again. I reformatted my computer to see if that would work. Any help would be appreciated ...

Possible To Add Exception For An Entire PUP Signature?

Hello. I have a good known program being detected as a PUP. I have added it to the PUP exception list, the problem is every time windows creates a restore point, this file gets backed up as a randomly generated name and AVG is detecting it as a PUP. I can not add it to PUP as an exception, because the file name changes every time it is backed up. Is it possible to add the entire signature for the PUP to the exception list, so that PUP signature is ignored? Thank you.

AVG Search Keeps Popping up FIX.. Hey, This pissed me off too much. I'm kind of a geek so I thought I'd share how to get rid of this. When the tab switched to the avg search, in the top right corner is the button to remove which takes you to a new page where you uncheck the box and press ok. It will say you need to restart your browser. This doesn't mean just close chrome and open it back up. You have to close all chrome processes. To do this: Primary Way: 1) close all chrome ...

I have a 2 year 4 computer licence which expires next year, and have it installed on three computers all set for automatic update. On my desktop computer running Windows XP, it has stopped working and cannot be launched. A message balloon (from Windows) pops up and reads "AVG is not working, you are not protected". I have tried different ways of launching AVG, shortcut, taskbar, directly clicking avgui.exe etc but it won't launch and there's no AVG icon in the system tray. It continues to work normally ...
