The dialogue shown below is displayed when some non-standard file cannot be scanned by AVG Resident Shield or Online Shield. We would appreciate if you could send us this file for analysis, to allow us prevent this warning from occuring again.


Please send us the file as follows:

  • Download the following file e.g. to your Desktop:
  • Run the downloaded file to open AVG Diagnostics utility.
  • In the utility, please click on Attach file and browse to the file mentioned in the Warning dialogue, section File name.
  • Fill in your email address and a brief description of the issue.
  • Then click on Diagnose and send results.

We will receive the file and inform you about result of the analysis.

After the Warning dialogue is closed, another prompt may appear, informing about an error encountered by AVG. Further diagnostic information will be sent to us if you click Yes.
